and might i add that the weather was absolutely perfect!

oh how i miss the amazing raspberry fields in michigan. 

anyone know of good places to go berry picking in SoCal? 

 i especially want to go cherry picking right about now!!

have you ever spent an early morning at the LA flower market? because if you haven't its another must visit spot! i can't believe i've spent so much time in LA and never gone until this week! its incredible! soo much beauty. i had to really stop myself from buying so many amazing plants!

after browsing {and a little purchasing} the flower market it was time for lunch! so we headed out to west hollywood to enjoy breakfast for lunch at bld.

the food that i got was good, but the dish that mello got {vegan benedict} was amazing! i want to go back just for this dish. 

and since milk was within walking distance from bld we couldn't resist making a quick stop :)

and the icing on the cake was the lakers winning that night :) 6 wins away! 6 wins away!

oh LA how i love you! i'm thinking i might not be able to resist another getaway this weekend :)

umami burger! have you been? if not, then you should def try it! i mean any place that has garlic aioli is a must visit in my book.

i just got back from a mini-2-day-getaway to LA. it was 2 wonderful days spent with wonderful people eating incredible food while hitting up some of my fave spots + some new ones!

after dinner the night was just too beautiful not to make a quick stop at griffith!

and that was just the first night... :]

i found myself back up on a new roof for another photo shoot this week. the roof {any roof} is becoming one of my favorite places to be! hope you don't mind me sharing more roof photos from my phone!

i've been going through photos and editing up a storm this week! while sifting through hundreds of files i came across a neglected folder with these photos in it. how could i have forgotten about these gems!??

...from a trip that irv & i made to pinkberry while ella was visiting.

now you have to know that ella was adamant about wanting mango yogurt. and that's exactly what she got, but if you look closely you'll see her eyeing irv's chocolate! before you knew it she was devouring the chocolate like a little adorable frozen yogurt monster!

this weekend i had the privilege of spending some much needed quality time with some of the most beautiful people {inside and out!} you'll ever meet.
