today was just one of those days that i never wanted to end...
it started early this morning. i had an interview out in irvine, so i dragged mello and edsel with me so i could make a day out of the trip. after my interview we went to the irvine spectrum and walked around for awhile...but it wasn't too long before i was starving.
i try to go to this restaurant, native foods whenever i can and today was the perfect day for it...
after eating we walked around "the camp" and then went to "the lab." both anti-malls...i think mello and ed wanted to squeeze in some tanning after eating before shopping...
random signs at "the camp" that i thought looked kinda cool...
after eating i was super stuffed...we did a little shopping and then made our way to the beach. i wanted to stop by the balboa fun zone to take some photos at a photobooth, but when we got there i came to find that they replaced it with a digital one. i hate the digital photobooths...i guess i'll have to look for another one...
i don't know what ed is doing...
after the beach we really wanted some frozen yogurt. so we decided to head home...but it was bad timing i guess because traffic was horrible. by the time we got close to home i was hungry again. so we decided to eat at red robin before getting frozen yogurt. =]
i always like going to red robin because they have the best strawberry lemonade ever. i think they call it their freckle lemonade...the chunks of real strawberries are wonderful.
i don't think i was as hungry as i thought i was, because i could barely finish my food and i was soo full afterwards it wasn't funny. as much as we wanted frozen yogurt, we decided against it. since we all felt so full, we tried to walk it off.
we ended up at the park. ed rode a bike there, but as lazy as we are mello and i drove. i couldn't believe how nice the weather was this evening. it was weird and amazing.
believe it or not after the park mello wanted ice cream. i was still super full, but what did i do? i got ice cream! chocolate malted crunch. as full as i was it was still oh so good. ed got some boba and then we were off to jay's house. and after story time with jay i'm finally home.
after more than 12 hours out and about today i'm super sleepy and super content. i will sleep well tonight...

haha, watch out, you don't wanna get fat.
sounds like you had a good day. how'd your interview go by the way? dad was grumbling a bit about you needing to get a job..
but then you know how dad likes to grumble
oh, tawns. looking at these pictures make me miss youuuu a ton. i hope you're having a good summer! (:
Tawny! I read "...believe it or not after the park mello..." and thought: Mello Park? Haha, hello Jay! You're right. I'm super happy. I like this post. It's the bomb. Did you know Ammiel is a closet cook? That's right; I'm outing her! It's tasty, your pasta! That's right: pasta! Watch out, Tawny! Ammiel fulfills all the requirements! It's true, it is. I'm going to call you soon. It's Benj's birthday tomorrow. I like writing his name with four letters. It makes the final consonant silent; it's like a certain vowel sometimes affixed to my surname, yes? I'm proud you workin' woman. Peace...
...and Dustin I visit your blog every now and then. You should post pictures! Visuals are where it's at...I need to take some of my own medicine...
