i got the new pomegranate red tea. a half mediterranean veggie sandwich with a half strawberry poppyseed salad. everything was good, but the salad was amazing.

if you haven't tried the strawberry poppyseed salad, you need to.

after eating we walked around "the camp" and then went to "the lab." both anti-malls...i think mello and ed wanted to squeeze in some tanning after eating before shopping...
random signs at "the camp" that i thought looked kinda cool...
after eating i was super stuffed...we did a little shopping and then made our way to the beach. i wanted to stop by the balboa fun zone to take some photos at a photobooth, but when we got there i came to find that they replaced it with a digital one. i hate the digital photobooths...i guess i'll have to look for another one...

after the beach we really wanted some frozen yogurt. so we decided to head home...but it was bad timing i guess because traffic was horrible. by the time we got close to home i was hungry again. so we decided to eat at red robin before getting frozen yogurt. =]

i don't think i was as hungry as i thought i was, because i could barely finish my food and i was soo full afterwards it wasn't funny. as much as we wanted frozen yogurt, we decided against it. since we all felt so full, we tried to walk it off.

believe it or not after the park mello wanted ice cream. i was still super full, but what did i do? i got ice cream! chocolate malted crunch. as full as i was it was still oh so good. ed got some boba and then we were off to jay's house. and after story time with jay i'm finally home.
after comparing prices and sizes while looking for the best prices we were out of stater brothers in an hour. he desperately wanted some mango salsa and i guess the brands at stater brothers just didn't cut it so we made a quick trip to trader joe's.
i got some very raspberry frozen yogurt with mangos, strawberries and a few cubes of moochi. it was wonderful...and surprisingly my eyes weren't bigger than my stomach for once...i got just the right amount.
a group of around 15 of us ate dinner at yardhouse. when i left i realized that i didn't take any photos of the food i ate. i guess i was super hungry.

edsel: "i want to go disco and karaoke after."
sorrie ed, no disco dancing for you tonight.

my dad played a round of golf today after work. and when he got home this is what he found in our front yard.
i babysat my little cousin today. she wouldn't stop crying for her mom, so i built her a castle for us to hide from "the monsters." the only people around were my family, so they became the monsters we were hiding from. once inside we ate crackers and played with her stuffed bear. inside our castle we had the following conversation...
of course after all that job hunting we were starved. so we went to eat two things you should always eat when visiting california. in n out and pinkberry.

i had forgotten how hilarious it is to hang out with ed. my stomach still hurts from laughing so much. thanks ed. =]
