whew...its been a busy week! i think i can safely say the busiest of the year thus far {at least work-wise}. which means i'm more grateful than usual that its finally friday!!

i think i'm in for an exciting weekend! we'll see how it all plays out..

irv and i had big salads for dinner. it really did feel like i ate 2 huge, full plates! :) happy weekend to you!

garden art.

just harvested the last of my winter crops. below is my last crown of broccoli. isn't it just beautiful?!!

this year was the first time i've had a winter garden and i absolutely loved it! you can be sure i'm going to be doing it again.

for the second weekend in a row i had one of THE BEST weekends ever! not only did i get to briefly see the dear boys of garage voice.. i also spent the entire weekend laughing until my cheeks were sore, my abs were aching and tears were flowing!!

all due to the fact that i was in the presence of these four ladies. nunz, come back soon and visit again please! i absolutely LOVE when you're here :)!

hiking in the hills with 3 of the best people + dog ever!

i grabbed my camera withOUT a card {real smart, i know}. so sadly my camera was just dead weight to me :(

continuing with the weekend...

the plan was to spend the whole afternoon at the LA street food fest and eat our hearts out. unfortunately thousands of other people had the same exact plan. SO we didn't make it in. i was heart broken, but my sadness was quickly forgotten as soon as i remembered bulan {fave} was close by!

if you haven't been yet i highly recommend you go. even if you're not vegetarian, i'm sure you'll find something there to love!

i always say, a delicious meal isn't complete unless its followed up with delicious dessert...so off to milk we went {another fave}.

oh LA how i love you! i'll be back soon.

i'll never be able to say it enough, but incredible food with the dearest of friends will always warm my heart!!

i had a wonderfully LONG weekend that felt REALLY short!
a dear friend was visiting from AU, so of course an amazing time was had!

a trip to LAX to pick up a friend wouldn't be complete without a stop at veggie grill!

after a satisfying lunch and a looong drive in traffic, the rest of the evening was spent at griffith observatory. def one of my fave spots in LA during the clear winter months. i could spend all day + night there!!

and that was just friday! there is still more to come!! ;)
