Last Monday afternoon I was able to share exactly who my brother was with hundreds of people. His memorial service was, for lack of a better word, simply beautiful. It was a perfect representation of who he was. Without the slightest hint of reservation, I can say that everything went just the way he would have wanted it.
The following is what I said about my brother. Don't worry, it's funny & will hopefully make you laugh {hard} a few, or more, times. I knew I wanted to say something, but I also knew that the only way I would be able to get up to speak about my little brother, without breaking down in tears, was if what I said was funny. And so, here it is. I hope you enjoy & are able to get a small glimpse of just how freaking amazing my brother was.

That was really sweet Tawn. Wish I could have been there. So glad to hear that there was such a wonderful memorial for your brother.
I'm glad you've been posting a little on here, I've somehow felt a little closer to you being able to read them.
i have never met your brother and i just stumbled upon your blog. but this moved me to tears.
i am so sorry for your loss.
Tawns, I read this at least once a week. I wonder if Dustin tweeted about virgin america, aka "soul plane!"
