i think we've had a thing for 3D glasses lately. ok, ok we stole them after watching coraline. but it was my brothers idea! yes, let's say it was his idea. i've never seen 3D glasses that look like wayfarers before, so i couldn't help my, i mean my brother couldn't help himself.

have you ever gotten soup in a sourdough bowl from claim jumper before? it is huge. i never knew.

amazing movie. a little eerie at times - well most of the time actually. i have to admit, i scare easily. even though i still loved everything. the imagery, the soundtrack, the story, you should go out and watch it. and it's true, be careful what you wish for.

i'd like to get ahold of some caroline dunks.

mickey mouse ponchos.

this week irv and i decided that - rain or shine - we were going to go to disneyland on friday. well its friday and we did go and it did rain, poured actually. i always pictured disneyland to be pretty empty when it rained, but it was far from deserted today. it was empty enough that the waits for rides weren't horrible, but i was still surprised at how many people were there.

i felt a little out of place not wearing a mickey mouse poncho. seemed like everyone in the park paid their $8 for one, but i just couldn't bring myself to spend that much.



we also went to california adventures, and michelle, you were right. the 3D toy story ride is amazing. i loved it. i can't wait to go back when its warmer and not so rainy.

wacky winter.

today was one of those wacky weather days. it's been raining since late last week and today was no exception to that. when i woke up it was super sunny, the clouds were white and the sky was really blue. and then all of a sudden it started pouring and then hailing! but then a few minutes later the sun decided to come out once again and it was if it hadn't rained at all.

that pattern continued throughout the day. i don't remember the last time it's ever hailed as much as today. i loved it. i think it's safe to say that winter has finally come and will probably be gone again by the end of the week.
