wowwowwow! i've had an incredible start to the new year! its only the 4th and ama.zing! things have already happened! more on all of those things to come..

how was your christmas?

for the very first time ever irv and i were in the same state on christmas day! i know he really wanted to be home and with his family in chicago, but i'm really glad he was here, with me, in CA.

anyone have any big plans for new years eve? irv and i will be spending it together for once (finally)!

i spent the ENTIRE day in the kitchen today! and i loved every minute of it :) part of that time was spent decorating cookies with my cousin...

i spent a couple of hours at hulda crooks park today taking photos of tristan and his day of fun in the snow with some huskies. watch the video below to hear his story. but be warned, this one is a definite tear jerker.

our christmas tree this year is definitely one of my favorite trees...i've named him doug. yes, i know, he's not a douglas fir, but doug just seemed to fit for some reason.

i just spent most of the evening listening to christmas music and wrapping up a bunch of gifts. is christmas really already coming next week?! i feel like i still have soo much to do!
